There has been a question in my mind over the last few weeks if I would keep walking to Finisterre once I reached Santiago. Many pilgrims continue to the sea, or to Portugal. Perhaps they take all the “Don’t stop walking” signs literally. It became very clear, however, that Santiago was the end for me, so this morning I got on a plane back “home” to Switzerland. So deliriously happy to see the Alps and lake again, though it was a bit of deja vu to enter our old apartment building after so many years away. And sad to send Jacob home and Jeff back to the states for the week. Sleep, and lots of it, is the plan for the next several days, before meeting some dear friends in Paris. And then, many more thoughts and stories yet to share. Stay tuned.
