Like so many friends and clients, I’ve been feeling deeply tired.
I could write that off to a mild case of the shingles, some anemia, having a busy summer at work, not to mention the state of the world.
But if I’m honest, it has do with deep soul work around my family lineage, how the masculine/feminine energies are expressing through me and learning to navigate the world from my essence and heart at a whole new level.
So as I was preparing to be interviewed for Teresa Shantz’s Enthusiastically Spiritual podcast, I wondered what the heck I could say.
When I think of enthusiasm, I see bouncing muppets like the ones above and that is definitely not how I feel.
So I decided to stay true to myself and show up raw and real. And you know what I discovered?
That embracing the challenging times, the tough & dark times is where the juice lives for me.
Being spiritual isn’t only about rainbows and unicorns and love and light, it’s also about how we respond to ourselves and the world when it’s messy and tiring.
